i drink my drink and i don't even want to I THINK MY THOUGHTS WHEN I DON'T EVEN NEED TO i never look back cause i don't even want to
Jacoby was bored to put everything and anything into simplicity. It wasn't often that he came down into the Underworld for a visit, but when he did it often took him most of the visit to find something to entertain him. And it wasn't like he could bring one of his 'special friends' down here to keep him company. They'd probably get themselves killed or he'd be driven insane by them going insane. So it wasn't often that he came down to visit dear old Dad, Hades. If he did, he generally spent his time doing a few things routine things to keep himself entertained. The first was playing with Cerberus. Despite having three heads, not one of them was any smarter than any of the others. But it was entertaining to play with the three headed beast until it wanted him to scratch behind it's, their, ears. As if to remind him that he'd been playing with the giant dog thing, he shook his hand in disgust and flung slobber against the wall. Whoops. Jacoby kept on walking as if nothing happened, wiping the remnants of the slobber from his inked fingers. His upper lip curled into a look of satisfaction as he got the rest of the drool off. Out of habit, he brushed himself off. Despite his appearances, the eighteen year old rarely liked having lint on him. His physical appearances were generally always impeccable if not in the sense one would think of. One person who dressed impeccably might wear fresh khakis and a Hollister polo; he wore ripped up black jeans and t-shirts that might or might not have the sleeves ripped off. But never were his clothes inexpensive, the one good thing about having a rich mortal father.
Of course his "father" probably thought Jacoby was at his "special came for troubled teens". Or off somewhere running him into near bankruptcy. Psh, he wasn't a gambler. He was an underage semi-alcoholic and chronic smoker but never had he ever gambled. Well, that wasn't entirely true. He had a few memories of poker games played, mainly strip poker. But it was rare that he ever lost too much money. Unlike most people, he knew when he was ahead and when to quit while he was still ahead. But yes, his step-father of sorts made sure Jacoby had plenty of money that would keep him out of his not yet thinning black hair. That was probably the only resemblance the Demigod child had with his human father. Expensive cars, expensive clothes, expensive booze, anything he wanted he got. You could call him spoiled, he called himself well-off. And he didn't really need any of that to survive. It was just a lifestyle he'd picked up and was slightly fond of. There was no love to be had between he and Tyler, his father, the two didn't get along and only tried to for Taylor's sake. His fifteen, now sixteen if he remembered correctly, year old sister was the only reason Jacoby ever went to a house too big for three people in the Upper East Side. He loved her to death and would do anything to keep her happy. She was probably the only reason he behaved at Tyler's lavish parties he threw or ordered his children to attend to.
It just wouldn't do for him to end up being drunk off his ass and making himself look like a bigger ass than he really was. After his and Tyler's last fight, he'd decided to pay a visit down to the Underworld for a week or two to blow off some steam. So far it was working. He turned a corner, watching as some hell hounds prowled around with nothing particular to do. They seemed about as entertained as himself. He wished electric guitars and such worked down here but they didn't. That was a way to entertain himself. Somewhere deep within the castle he could hear Hades and Persephone starting up another round. She wanted to go up to the Earth, he wanted her to stay, yadda, yadda, yadda. It was the same argument they'd been getting into since he'd tricked her into remaining down her for three-fourths of the year. He whistled briefly, earning the attention of the hell hounds until they realized it was him. Honestly, he still hadn't forgiven whichever three of the dozens of mongrels had attacked him when he was ten or eleven. Bastards. Though he was beginning to wonder whether or not he'd ever see another Hades child down here. It wasn't particularly uncomfortable but the next time he came he was bringing Caden or some one to keep him company.

If Raynelle had to pick one word to describe how she felt in the place known only as the Underworld.Growing up on the streets of Manhattan around creeps and thugs of all kinds taught her to never let her guard down, but here, this was the one place that never requried that.Hell, she was even that way at camp!Never here though, never here. She walked through the depressing corridors of this lonely place happier then ever. She passed the Fields Of Punishment and the Furies waved to her.Raynelle waved backed excitedly while grinning. The Furies loved her like a sister and she felt the same. She thought of when she found out about who she was and how kind everyone down here was to her, expect for a little slut known as Persephone. The springtime goddess hated her on sight just because of who her father was, even attempted to kill her at one time.Raynelle doesn't have to worry about that anymore, after what Hades did to her the last time.Smirking at the memory,Raynelle continued on her way.
Smiling and laughing, earning her a few 'What the fuck?' looks from the spirits which Raynelle merely responded with a psychoic grin, about what Hades did to that flowery little bitch last year, she eventually came apon a guard dog only known as Cerberus. He was whimpering and looked just very plan miserable. Now Cerberus was another favorite of Raynelle down here in the Underworld, and seeing him sad so often just made her plan depressed. This was the only thing she didn't like about her dad,he never sent fucking anybody to play with the poor,three-headed,monster dog.Raynelle looked around the room for one of his few, poor cared for toys. After a few minutes she found a chewed up red rubber ball.It looked like it once said somthing but the words could not be made out.Raynelle picked it up,ignoring the muck, and threw it.The monster dog caught sight and bounded after it.Cerberus brought it back, excited she was here.Next thing she knew she was covered in dog sailva.Nasty shit right there.Raynelle laughed and scratched the big guy behind the ears.Raynelle checked the watch on her wrist.4:23PM,fuck,Raynelle has to leave in two hours."Dammit all."she said under her breath."I gotta go big guy."she said sadly to the dog who whimpered, obviously knowing what she said."I'll be back."she said and walked, not giving herself a chance to feel bad about it.
Raynelle kept walking until she wasn't one-hundred percent sure where she was.She stayed here for a year but never bothered to learn exactly where everything was.She stayed close to Alysium and the Fields Of Asphodel, where things were slightly less depressing. She looked ahead of her to see a very emo looking boy walking ahead. He wasn't doing anything which made him seem a little suspicous.Raynelle figured him to be a son of Hades but decided it best not to jump to conclsions.Raynelle decided to start by being nice."Hi!"she called, running to him, hoping she didn't sound to fake."I'm Raynelle, daughter of Hades."she said happily."Nice to meet you!"

i drink my drink and i don't even want to I THINK MY THOUGHTS WHEN I DON'T EVEN NEED TO i never look back cause i don't even want to
"Hi! I'm Raynelle, daughter of Hades. Nice to meet you!" If there was anything more irritating then sunny days, it was a person who sounded perky. Jacoby's lip curled up in distaste as he kept walking, hoping whoever had decided to walk beside him would drop off. After a few more steps and it not happening, he glanced over to see who it was that had bothered him. The only conclusion that he could come to about the girl was that she was most definitely odd looking. One of his fine eyebrow rose sharply as he watched her. "Jacoby, son of Hades." He responded. His slight Southern drawl mingled in with his voice, making his voice sound more relaxed than normal. It seemed the more time he spent outside of New York City, the more his drawl became more pronounced. He actually enjoyed it sometimes because it didn't fit in with his appearance. Standing at least six feet tall with arms covered in gory monsters, Jacoby wasn't your average eighteen year old. Of course he also wasn't an average teenager as stated above that he was the son of Hades. Hades was the god of the Underworld; his kingdom was among the dead. In a way, he enjoyed the fact that his father was the god of the dead. It made for some unique powers and good times on Halloween. The fact that he was also one of the stronger Demigods did nothing to diminish his already considerable ego. It would take someone very much like himself to knock some of the wind of his sails though.
"Can I help you with something?" Jacoby asked. He continued his steady pace, faster than an easy walk but slower than a power walk. It was the fact that he took longer strides that made it appear that he walked fast. If there was one thing that people found out about him it was that he didn't like to be slowed down. He didn't reflect back on the past and didn't look ahead to the future. He tried to keep his mind squarely on what was happening currently. Even if said thing was utterly distasteful. And it was more than obvious that the dark-haired young man didn't get along with his half-sisters at Camp Halfblood. It was no big secret and he didn't try to keep it that way at all. It wasn't that he disliked the children of Hades, more along the lines that he only got along with them when it was needed. Namely during a Capture the Flag game because there was a deep drive inside of him that told him to put aside differences to win. Anyone who knew Jacoby knew that he was competitive. And that the very much formidable son of Hades was not an enemy you wanted. While he was headstrong and didn't like to listen to others, he was capable of keeping his mouth shut and doing his fair share of the work. His competitive drive wouldn't let him be second best but it also wouldn't let him not give his best. Call him a complex creature if you will. His dark brown, almost black eyes looked over at the girl again. He didn't recognize her from belonging to Hades but it wasn't rare that he didn't know who lived with him. Afterall, he didn't pay much attention to his sisters at the camp. The dark eyed young man liked eyeing up more distantly related relatives of his.
A few hell hounds had fallen in behind them as they walked. It was almost a flashback to when he was eleven years old and the damned beasts attacked him because they'd sensed he was a Demigod. It wasn't like he knew what he was then, afterall his thoughts were more concerned with protecting his younger sister and watching out for what his father was doing. The few times he came to the Underworld, Jacoby had been unable to find his mother amongst all the dead. It wasn't like he went looking for her too much, so he often resigned himself to waiting for when he was at home again. It was much more comfortable being somewhere where he was comfortable. Though after a few hours in Hades palace, he always found himself relaxed if not entirely comfortable. He glanced over his shoulder, watching as the mutts followed after them, their eyes seemingly glued to him. He still hadn't forgiven them for when they'd mauled him to death nearly almost eight years ago. Damn bastards, he wanted to them to go the fuck away. He turned another corner, listening to his footsteps along with the girl, Raynelle or Rachel, following beside him. Honestly, he wasn't at all comfortable with someone just walking beside him. It didn't give him a chance to do anything he wanted to. "I'm sorry but why did you start following me?" Jacoby asked finally. He reached up, twisting the diamond stud in his ear briefly before looking at her. Persephone and Hades's argument became explosively louder from somewhere inside the castle.
To be honest, Jacoby liked Persephone more than most people would assume. With being a child of Hades, and a son at that, many would assume he didn't like his step-mother of sorts because his father didn't. No, he liked listening to her talk about different things. She was nicer than most people gave her. Yes, he'd heard of her great dislike for the children of Hades and their father. Supposedly she tried to kill some of them but Jacoby didn't believe those rumors. It was in your mannerisms; if you were nice to Persephone, she was nice back. If you were a bitch or an ass, she had no qualms about treating you the same way. And often times, he found himself wandering off throughout the castle in search of her company. It was mostly that he had motherly issues. What with watching his own mother be beaten for years and occasionally he himself being beaten, there were some deep-seated psychological problems in his head. And Persephone was the closest thing he had to mother. Honest, he didn't know why she tolerated his presence when she hated the other children. Maybe it was that she understood what had happened with his parents. His father, Tyler, had kept his mother from doing anything she enjoyed and Hades was the same with Persephone. At least she was never killed or beaten and got to leave the Underworld for a season a year. The way his childhood had been had created some deep problems for him.

Raynelle could just feel her lip curling into a snarl. That's what she gets for trying to be nice to this fucker. She was about to slap him for walking away, but surprisingly had enough self-control not too."It's nice to finally met one of my brothers."she stated politely, deciding to try again. He looked at her like she was from the fucking moon or somthing.Oh she came so close to hitting this little bastard when he said.'Can I help you with somthing?'It took everything she had not to hit him,I mean she just wanted to be friends!"Well,'brother' I thought we could be friends, but that's not very fucking likely,is it bro?"she snarled out.Her ADHD part noticed how he walked, faster then normal, butmore so in strides then anything.Raynelle continued to walk next to him.The reason even being unknown to her. After a few moments, she realized they were being followed.Raynelle whipped around, nearly falling in the process,to find it was nothing more then a few hellhound. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.Hellhounds wouldn't bother her they knew who she was,a daughter of Hades. But Raynelle looked toward Jacoby and saw how uncomfortable he was.Even though how he acted,Raynelle didn't want her brother to be uncomfortable. She walked without fear to the monsters and scratched one behind the ears and calmly said."Hi guys, can you leave please? My brother is kind of uncomftorable."Being the favorite of Hades, she knew this would work, even though, she had to smirk as they ran off.
Raynelle walked back to Jacoby smiling."There big softies really."she said."Don't worry about them."Raynelle hoped they still might have a chance of being friends, after she made the hellhounds leave and all.Raynelle let out a sigh, this kind of shit made her tired. Her backpack seemed to weigh about five more pounds now.As she kept walkig by him,she brushed a few bright red bangs out of her face. This was going to be a long day, starting now."So... Before she could get out anymore,Jacoby asked by she was following him.At this, her hands curled to fists and her snarl came back."Are you fucking stupid?"she hissed."I said I wanted to be fucking friends!Dammit all to hell now though!"Raynelle stomped off. What a fucking douche!Raynelle felt tears come to her eyes, she tried despartly to stop. She was getting to frustrated.None of that lasted long though.Earsplitting shrieks rang through the Underworld. One male voice and one female. This could only mean one thing.Hades and the flowery bitch of hell were fighting again.Goddammit, that's the third time today! This was seriously a bad time too. But,still, she felt as of she should go sees what's wrong.Sighing, she began to make the tread to the palace of the Underworld and her future home.

i drink my drink and i don't even want to I THINK MY THOUGHTS WHEN I DON'T EVEN NEED TO i never look back cause i don't even want to
Jacoby's eyes narrowed at her voice. He reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling his temples start to throb. Headaches were common with him, that or the pressure from being underground was annoying him. The snarl in her voice just amused him. She thought that she was just so big and fucking bad ass, it was pathetic almost. He turned his dark gaze onto her, his kohl lined eyes narrowing with visible anger. The shadows in the corridor whipped around violently, winding around his body like he had some magnetic pull to him. But he kept his mouth shut. He was waiting for her to do something else that would justify the temper tantrum he was building up to. His exquisitely long, tattooed fingers curled and uncurled into a fist slowly several times until he found enough restraint. The shadows that wound over his body like ghostly cats were relaxing on him, it gave him something else to think about. The sound of the hellhounds following them made his nerves go on edge briefly. The damned things kept following him around for the first several days every fucking time he came for a visit. That was why he didn't like coming to the Underworld. Those stupid hellhounds panting after him like obsessed stalkers. When she had the audacity to say that he was uncomfortable with the hellhounds around, it was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
Jacoby whirled on the red-haired girl, his nostrils flared in anger and his eyes black with anger. The strong planes of his cheekbones and jaw bone became evident when he clenched his teeth. His fingers that were inked with the word 'Marlboro' clenched into fists as he glared at her. "Listen bitch, I don't know who the hell you think you are but you need to learn something. I don't need your fucking help because you're Daddy's favorite! You may be on their side down here but up there, they'll kill you given the fucking chance. And who told you that you thought we could be friends?" Jacoby snarled, a mirthless laugh ripping out from his vocal chords. "Do you really have no fucking idea who I am?" Everyone knew who Jacoby was. They knew that he was the biggest jackass to ever walk on the earth and probably the most egotistical. He was a womanizer and trying to be friends with him wasn't the smartest idea. Especially when he wasn't in the mood to be friendly. Being in the Underworld gave him an evil temperment that he normally didn't have. Before the eighteen year old could continue, Raylenne was already walking away from him. He knew she was crying and the briefest flash of guilt went through him. Taylor, his younger sister, would have made him apologize to her for making her cry. But that didn't matter to him. If she wanted to be his friend, or even remotely acquainted with him, she needed to be a big girl. Especially if she was a Hades kid, they got a lot of shit for who their dad was.
"Are you sure that Hades is your father? I'm surprised you've lasted this long with how utterly pathetic you are. That little bitch that belongs to Zeus is made of toughter stuff than you." Jacoby hissed, continuing his walk. Though he actually had a place to go now, Persephone and Hades. It may have been the third time today but it was getting to be late in the afternoon. She would be avoiding him to go try and relax while Hades would sit in his throne room and rant. It was always the same. He reached up, his finger tips brushing over his nose ring as he rubbed his temples again. Damn them and their arguing, it was all they ever did. He did wonder if they ever got tired of having the same argument day after day after day. Or millenium after millenium after millenium would probably be more correct. As far as he and anyone else knew, they'd been arguing for far too long in his opinion. "Wish they'd fucking shut up already. It's the same fucking argument every day." He muttered, pulling at the collar of his t-shirt. His gaze glanced down briefly out the window to see Cerberus sitting guard. Other demonic monsters moved in and out of his view, monsters he was familiar with. Souls moved on to where they'd spend the rest of eternity without fail. It was increasingly dull most of the time. And his dad could only go to Olympus every so often. He got fucking jipped.

Raynelle J. Winters was crying harder then before. Why did she get so frustrated with people she knew she needed to calm down but it was becoming really hard. Why did he do this, she just wanted to be friends with her brother!Everything he said hurt her terribly.Raynelle kicked at some rocks.Goddammit! This was supposed to be a good day.All she did was try to be kind to this asshole and this is what she got!Raynelle only made the hellhound go away and all she got back was.'I don't need your fucking help because you're daddy's favorite! The part that hurt the most is when she talked about her being pathetic!Raynelle froze in place, time to back that up.How did he know she was the favorite?Any child of Hades could make hellhounds do whatever they wanted in th Underworld,so that couldn't have told him to much.Raynelle never told him because she didn't want to be a bitch about it.So,what the fuck? How did he know? The spirits around her seemed to move faster.Cerberus,a short distance from where she was, seemed more upset than before. What the fuck is going on?Maybe they could feel the general mood of the place?Whatever it was,she didn't like it.First things first though.
Raynelle ran after him.Jacoby fucking bothered her.Her face was tear-stained,making her eyeliner run,but Raynelle didn't care."WAIT!"she yelled, when she got to him she asked."How did you know I was the favorite of Hades?"Raynelle tried not sounding to proud, another fight was somthing she wasn't looking for. Before he answered, all hell broke lose. The fighting got louder,Cerberus starting growling like a lion, spirits randomly looked like they were having a cross between heart attacks and sugar rushes.Y'know, the fun shit.Raynelle barely had time to scream"FUCK!"nefore and axe landed inches from her head and embedded inself into a wall."Sonnva bitch!"she yelled and began her way to the palace.Hades would get this figured out and under control. On her way there she almost got hit by several flying objects, barely missing them but faling many times in the process.Raynelle didn't know what Jacoby was doing and she didn't really giv e rat's ass right about now. This problem was bigger.
Raynelle could see the the Furies in the Fields Of Punishment in the distance. They were trying to get things in order there too.Ok,now really, what the fuck is going on?!She burst through the doors to the palace, the only problem,Hades or the flower slut wasn't there, you couldn't even here them.Raynelle felt panic go through her system. Her and the Furies couldn't do this alone and the gods know Jacoby wasn't going to help.Nearly yelling curses,Raynelle began racing to the Fields Of Punishment. She couldn't do everything, but she'd do what she could. But talking to the Furies first sounds like a good idea.

i drink my drink and i don't even want to I THINK MY THOUGHTS WHEN I DON'T EVEN NEED TO i never look back cause i don't even want to
If it wasn't pathetic enough, he could actually hear her crying now. Jacoby rolled his heavily lined eyes, a nasty smirk on his face. She actually thought she was Hades favorite when she really wasn't. He didn't even believe she was actually a Hades child. Everyone at Camp Halfblood and in the world of the gods knew who Hades 'favorites' were. As if his father had a favorite child or was capable of feeling for his children. He growled a little as she ran after him, the roaring sound in his ears was drowning out most everything else but the sound of her whiney, bitch of a voice. Never before had he wanted to harm a person of the opposite gender as much as he did now. Jacoby briefly wondered whether or not this was how his dad felt. Did he think that his mother was annoying? He couldn't believe that though, his mother had been beaten mind, body, and soul. There was nothing left of her by the time she died. Valaria had died a long time ago, maybe when the abuse started. He just wanted to go back and find out what had happened. But first, he wanted to kill this scrawny little freak that was crying. Jacoby's fists clenched, the strong muscles throughout his body drew taut, ready to spring on her. He'd choke her or rip her damn throat out. And then feed her to Cerberus, the big three-headed beast would enjoy that.
"You honestly believe that you're Hades favorite?" Jacoby laughed in her face. "Hades doesn't have a favorite. He tolerates us because we're useful. We keep his blood going, we keep him up to par with Poseidon and Zeus." The eighteen year old's voice was an angry snarl. He was completely void of any emotion of concerning her own feelings. He didn't like listening to her voice and he had no guilt now about making her cry. Hell, maybe she'd even kill herself. As soon as she got to camp, her life would be a living hell. And he'd inform Caden of their nasty little pest soon enough. "You're stupid and you're pathetic. You think that he cares about you because you want someone to care about you. In all honesty, he probably doesn't like you. Caden and I, we're the one who will matter at the end of the day. And you know why? It's because we can take care of ourselves, bitch." Raynelle would be in for a rude awakening when she got to camp. The worst thing that could happen to someone at camp was that Jacoby went out of his way to make a mockery of you. His best friend was his cabin leader, rivalry was practically encouraged amongst the Demigods, short of maiming or killing anyone that is. And he had almost eight years of perfecting his skills under his belt.
Anyone and everyone at Camp Halfblood had been underneath his scorn at some point or another. The ones who had escaped that were ones he could tolerate. Raynelle had just made her way onto his bad list. She'd be safer trying to be friends with Chloe Summers, a Zeus Demigod. Chloe wouldn't attempt to ruin her life like he would. Caden would back him up and no one would step in to save her from him. Jacoby Kraemer was ruthless to anyone. And therefore, he was King. If he were egotistical enough, he'd believe that he could be a king one day. If he were that egotistical and suicidal of course. "Have fun at camp, sister!" Jacoby yelled after her, remusing his previous walk. His amusement grew as the girl raced around like something was wrong. This behavior was normal in the Underworld. Cerberus would be happy again in a few seconds and Persephone and Hades would continue their fight as usual. She could run around, believing the Furies were on her side down here as was every denominc monster as long as she wanted. The Underworld was different from the mortal world. Up there, it didn't matter who they were, they would kill you. And Jacoby would laugh when she was nearly slaughtered or possible slaughter. Hell, he hoped she'd go complain to Hades right now. Caden and Jacoby, Hades' sons, were unconditionally his favorites. And this eighteen year old right here practically embodied his father. Not something he was proud of nor that he liked very much, but it came very much in handy.

Raynelle Winters never felt as hurt as she did this moment. She lived in the Underworld for a fucking year and he has the nerve to say she's not a child of Hades? What a complete dochebag!Raynelle didn't know Hades thought of his other kid, hopefully he cared for as he did her,but she knew Hades cared. He's not that fucking bad!The gods know it's going to be hell dealing with him at camp, but she'll deal with it.Besides, when she turns eighteen Hades is letting her move in again. She was still running to see the Furies, they always cheer her up.Raynelle heard Jacoby call to her.All she made out of it was 'at camp'.Her lip then curled intoa snarl and she flipped him the bird.Who the fuck did he think he was? This is a sibling rivalary to the end of motherfucking time starting here.Raynelle will be damned if she comes out on bottom.Though her way to the Furies, all she could do was cry about this little bastard. She is the favorite child of Hades,he told her so himself! She'd be fucking insane not to defend his honor against a little shit like that.
The Furies were still working in the Fields Of Punishment, but apon the sight of the sobbing daughter of Hades, they exchanged a few words and two of them went back to work, but the one known as Alecto, who cared for Raynelle in her younger years, stepped forward to the sobbing child.Alecto took the girl into a hug cautionly."Now,now child, why are you crying?"Alecto said in the most soothing voice a Fury can speak in.Raynelle shivered and sobbed for a few minutes before answering.Even then all she managed to get was."M-my h-hh-half br-brother."It took Alecto a few minutes to get what she was saying, but then she remembered Jacoby was visiting today. The Fury's eyes narrowed, unfortantly enough Alecto has met Jacoby and knew how he was.Alecto sighed and pulled the girl into a slightly tighter hug."Dear girl,I know who you speak of and unerstand why you are upset.Trust me,i've met him before.Just call us if he bothers you again"Alecto said all in one breath,it still amazed Raynelle that she refered to her as child. She even stopped sobbing. Then, out of absolute fucking nowhere, what sound like a grandfather clock went off.
Hades must have sent it so he'd know when to leave, because the next thing Alecto said was."It is time, you must go to camp,I will escort you to the border but that's as far as I can go.With that, they both began to shadow travel to Camp Half-Blood.
(I'm out of this one buddy.)
