HAIR COLOUR Caden has dark black hair with the longest part reaching about halfway down his neck. He has 'emo bangs' that cover one eye at an angle. He keeps his hair freakishly clean, but doesn't really do much else to it. His hair is naturally straight and usually takes the same style with a few pokes and prods here and there.
EYES Caden has dark, close-set eyes. Some people describe them as being the color of charcoal, and others the color of obsidian. He's pretty good at hiding his emotions in his facial expression, but you can usually see them in his eyes.
SCARS He has one jagged scar across the lower half of his back from a practice sword fight gone wrong.
TATTOOS Caden has several tattoos. Two of the first ones he got are on his left arm. One is an eye with the word 'Dream' underneath and the other is a human heart with words under it. He also has a hand holding a rose with the words 'Just an apology' and on his the knuckles of both hands is the word 'Obsessed'. Near the top of his chest (close to his neck) he has music notes with the words 'Where words fail, music speaks'. On the right side of his neck he has a bluebird with the words 'Casus Belli' ('Incident of War') underneath it. He has a symbol on both arms and a tattoo on the underside of his wrist. The last tattoo he's gotten for now is a bird on his left rib cage.
PIERCINGS Caden has both ears pierced and one lip ring that he only wears from time to time, mostly to make sure it doesn't grow back together.
PLAY-BY Kenneth Nixon
APPEARANCE Caden tends to look gangly or average, mostly depending on what he's wearing. He's not deathly pale, but he's not tan either. His hair usually does what he wants it to, and his obsidian-colored eyes are probably one of his most striking features. He's in good shape and is a skilled fighter. Something about Caden gives off this dark, don't-mess-with-me vibe most of the time, whether it's the way he carries himself or the dark hair hiding one and three-fourths of his equally dark eyes he isn't sure. Don't let it fool you though; he isn't like that all of the time.
WARDROBE
Caden normally dresses in black, red, grey, white, or purple for everyday and at school. He mostly wears jeans, hoodies, fitted guy's shirts and v-necks, and cargo shorts. There's also the occasionally time where he wears a dark button-down shirt with an equally dark vest. As for shoes, it's mostly athletic shoes, converse, vans, basketball shoes, or skateboarding shoes. He's also usually wearing a number of bracelets, rings, and the occasional necklace. At camp he wears the camp shirt with cargo shorts or jeans and athletic shoes. He hates formal wear and wouldn't be caught dead in a suit. So instead he owns a few pairs of nice jeans, unwrinkled button down shirts, vests, and plain black shoes that aren't beat up or ugly formal shoes.

OVERALL PERSONALITY
Caden has his good side and his bad side. To be nice, I'll start with the good side. He's actually really nice to his friends and a lot of fun to be around. Caden can't stand being bored and likes to do stuff that he enjoys. If he likes it, he usually does it well or works at it until he can. He's more likely to suck at it or give up if he isn't interested. He's a very easy person to understand in the long run, though at times he seems freakishly complex, especially in his thoughts. Caden tends to be a bit spontaneous most of the time, and he likes that. He thinks being unpredictable is fun. He's also got a bit too much humor in him for him to be reasonably sane. His good side really only comes out around people that are his friends or that he actually likes. It's honestly really sad because he's one of those pretty easy to get along with type of people.
Then there's Caden's bad side. When I say 'bad side', I mean it in more ways than one. He has a tendency to be cold to strangers, especially when he's uncomfortable with the situation, and cruel and ruthless to people he hates. Caden is violent and fighter, which also makes up some of his cruel ruthlessness. Then there's another part to his bad side. He tends to be shy and closed-off, which tends to turn a lot of people away from him. He's extremely socially awkward. He also has no clue about love outside of the family and friend types of love, so he's kind of scared of it. He's extremely uncomfortable around strangers and finds it difficult to make really good friends because he doesn't ever really know what to say. He also tends to offend people because he says something the wrong way. Caden also isn’t quick to trust people either, and they tend not to be quick to trust him either. He hates himself for being so socially awkward.

HISTORY
Caden was born to eighteen year old Briana Johnson as the Demigod son of Hades. The two spent the first few years of his life living alone in an apartment in Birmingham, Alabama. His mom didn't keep many secrets about his father from him, since Caden looked almost nothing like her apart from skin color and bony build. The only thing she didn't outright tell him was that his dad was a Greek god. She simply told him that his father was a really powerful man. Caden was really close to his mom since she was pretty much the only person he had. At school most of the other kids seemed to avoid him unless the teachers forced them to interact with each other. Only one kid didn't seem to be creeped out by his dark eyes. That kid pretty much became the brother he never had (at the time). His name was Shane Heblon and would become pretty important in his life over the next few years.
Just as Caden and Shane were best friends, their moms became really good friends too. They hung out a lot, often taking Caden and Shane with them. Then when Caden was eight and his mom was twenty-six, she was diagnosed with melanoma. She was a frequent user of tanning beds and didn't notice the irregular shape of what she presumed to be a regular mole. When it was finally discovered she was told that it was too late and it had spread too far. Eventually she died, and Caden was adopted by Shane's family. Caden became withdrawn after his mother's death, but Shane was still persistent about being his friend. Marissa Heblon was born the year after his mother died, and it wasn't a lie that Caden could be a bit protective of her as she got older.
After five years with the family, he started getting into fighting. It wasn't unusual for him to come home with a new bruise or scratch or suspended from school. Shane often accompanied him, though he rarely got involved in the actual fight. Leana and Gareth grounded him several times, trying to keep him out of trouble. They had their secrets though. They knew about his biological father, but didn't want to tell him the truth until the time was right. Then, when he was thirteen, he ended up in the hospital beaten to within almost an inch of his life with several animal-like scratches on his body. Leana finally broke down once he was conscious and thinking somewhat clearly and told him everything. Almost immediately after he was fully healed, they took a road trip. Except it wasn't a vacation; they had to get him to Camp Halfblood. Gareth picked up a lead foot along the way, using it whenever Caden saw a monster that they otherwise couldn't see. They got there safely, for the most part, and in one piece.
Caden spent almost an entire summer in the Hermes cabin as an unclaimed Demigod. It wasn't until two weeks before the summer camp ended that Hades decided to claim him as his own. It was an hour or so before dinner, and another unclaimed Demigod had taken a certain, unknown disliking to Caden. That night he was doing what he usually did, pushing the younger guy around and making fun of him. Caden was getting pretty pissed off at the guy. One second, the guy was verbally abusing him. The next, there was a hole in the ground next to Caden and a rock the size of an overweight chihuahua on the guy's chest. A few minutes later, the green mark of Hades appeared over thirteen year-old Caden's head, claiming him as one of his children.
Caden didn't really feel like he fit in at the camp or anywhere else in the world, for that matter. He had only a small handful of extremely close friends and deemed himself socially awkward around people he didn't know well, if at all. He's pretty much spent the last four years of his life going between Camp Halfblood in the summer and various high schools around Birmingham during the school year. He tends to end up in schools that have classes for people with special needs because of his ADHD and dyslexia. He's not exactly proud of that fact, since Shane is in AP and Honors classes.

Analeigh walked into the classroom, yawning. It was early by her standards. She walked over to the desk at the front of the classroom and looked around making sure she was the only person in the room. When she was sure she was completely alone, she ripped open the desk drawer and pulled out a flask, taking a sip from it. She almost immediately felt more awake. Okay, so she had a bit of an alcohol problem. But whatever, she was almost legal by Muggle standards anyways. Just a few months away from being 21. She resealed it and placed it back in the drawer, before swishing a bit of water around her mouth to rinse out the smell in case she had to talk to someone who could recognize when someone had been drinking. She walked over to the blackboard, heels clicking on the cold stone floor of the dungeon class room. She picked up one of the pieces of chalk and wrote 'Welcome to Potions, please find your seat.' on the dark surface, the white chalk standing out against the solid, clean black of the board. She wrote the date in the top corner and signed her name under the note.
The lighting was rather dim in here, but she couldn’t think of any way to bring more light to the room without it being at risk of exploding. Potions ingredients had a bad tendency to be flammable and possibly cause explosions if mixed with other ingredients. She just hoped that none of the students she had today knew that. She’d rather save having candles exploding for, well, never. She’d already heard about one teacher being fired this year for a fight and she figured the potions classroom going up (or was it down?) in flames wouldn’t go over well with Professor Dumbledore. And she’d rather not find out the hard way, so she’d just have to deal with the dark lighting. She leaned against the desk, gripping the edge with her fingers, waiting for the students to begin showing up.
’Oh please let this class end well,’ she thought quietly. This was the first job she’d gotten since leaving Hogwarts because she’d been living with her parents so that she could continue her study of Potions. She’d liked Hogwarts when she left three years ago. How much could a school change in three years? Well, it could probably change a lot. Especially since the people who’d been fourth years when she graduated were this year’s seventh years. Wasn’t that a nice thought to think of when you wanted to feel like you were getting old. What she really wondered was whether or not any of the students would recognize her. She’d been known to be a bit of an odd Slytherin. Probably the nicest Slytherin in the past five years, maybe more years than that. After all, you didn’t run into nice Slytherins much. They usually tried to be the meanest, most evil students in the school, not to mention that they succeeded by far. Since the newest Dark Wizard had come from Slytherin, that wasn’t hard to believe, was it? She shook her head to clear it and focus on the coming class.
