Most people told her it was weird that it didn't happen when she was growing up but once she got here to camp Half Blood she found out it was because her father was God of the sun. Her eyes are a beautiful gold color, much like the sun. Her mother always told her it was something that made her special. Little did she know that it was a sign that she belonged to Apollo.
WARDROBE Quin goes to school in New York like some other students at the camp and once school is done she returns to the camp to go about the rest of her day. When she is at school she wears this:

OVERALL PERSONALITY
Quin is a very nice, sweet girl. Her personality is happy and warm like the sun. She enjoys making friends with everyone and really doesn't discriminate against people. Part of that she has her mother to thank for. She can also thank the fact that her father is Apollo, God of the sun. The warm personality and the fact that she is on her best side when the sun comes out is always something she found strange. Now that she understands why it makes living life way easier.
When it comes to anything involving competition the warrior inside of her comes out like nothing anyone has ever seen before. She will do whatever she needs to do to win short from cheating. She hates cheaters and thinks that is to low for anyone to go. She loves winning and whenever she loses she always gets mad at herself. Music is another thing that brings out the crazy side of her. She loves taking her guitar, going to the stables or the creek and writing a song or staying in the cabin and playing the piano, one of her favorite instruments...Along with the harp, flute, violin and guitar.

HISTORY
Quin was born on a beautiful summer morning in Portland Oregon. Her mother was happier than she ever had been. She had just had the daughter of Apollo. Nine months before Quin was born she was at the beach at a music festival. Her mom was going to college to be a music teacher and met a man who played the harp better than anyone she had ever seen. She got to talk to him when he was finished and something about him was different from all the other men in the world. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. He was captivated by her and before the week was over they shared an amazing night in his hotel room. The next day he left and didn't say anything. The morning Quin was born he came to her and revealed who he was. Her mother at first could not believe it but then she accepted the truth an vowed that she would not tell Quin until Apollo was ready to show her.
Growing up Quin managed to be the sunshine in anyone's life. When she walked into the room she seemed to lighten everyone's mood. People liked having her around. She took very well to music. A little to well. Any instrument she picked up she seemed to learn with the simplest of ease. She was an amazing singer and when it came to sports she was drawn to horses, fencing and archery. Her mother noticed more and more of her father in her but the biggest sign was her eyes. She had the eyes of Apollo. A brilliant, beautiful gold color. Her mother knew that her father couldn't keep the secret from her forever...As each year went on she began to notice more and more of him in her. It also didn't help when she started getting more and more interested in learning about Greek Mythology.
When Quin was eleven years old, on her birthday she awoke to the sun rising. It was always amazingly warm on her birthday. Even though they lived in Oregon, Portland Oregon. One of the wettest places in the country. She awoke to the sound of a man calling her name "Quindaline. Quindaline wake up my child." She opened her eyes and saw a man that seemed to almost glow standing before her. She rose in a fright and began freaking out. He calmed her down and explained who he was. That he was so sorry for not being there and that she belonged at Camp Half Blood. Her mother comforted her as she dealt with the news that her father was Apollo. Her mother explained what happened when she was born. It was then that she knew what was happening. They were moving to New York for a reason. And it was then that Quindaline began her life in Camp Half Blood.
She is not seventeen years old and soon to turn eighteen in the summer. Her mother lives in a nice apartment in New York and teaches at the school Quin goes to. She visits with her before and after school and then her mom drops her off at the camp at the end of the day.

Quin sighed as she pulled the string back on the bow. She looked up at her trainer who had her eye's focused on the target and not on Quin. Yep, there was no getting out of this one. She was stuck here. She had been at it for hours. She wanted nothing more than to go and play her guitar. It was something she did to take her mind off of things. Much like an outlet if you will. That was something she was good at. Music, archery and sword fighting were some of her talents. Traits passed down by her father no doubt. She let the arrow go and it hit the center of the target as if guided by something more powerful than her. Though it was not in the exact middle. It had veered ever so slightly. Her trainer shook her head. Quin sighed and looked down at the arrows.
As Quin pulled back on the string she paused when she heard a voice. It was not someone in the camp that she knew. It was a voice inside of her head. As if the gust of wind that blew was whispering something to her. It was her father talking to her. She glance to her right side and saw the faintest of outlines of her father standing next to her. He lifted her arm slightly. She watched where he had placed her arm and looked at him. He smiled and her and took a step back. "Breath...If you breath with the arrow you will guide it to the center."
As she opened her eyes and exhaled she let go of the arrow. She saw the faint picture of her father leave with the arrow. The arrow hit dead center. She smiled and nodded. Her trainer smiled and looked down at Quin. "That concludes our work for today. The sun is starting to set...Go ahead and go get some rest."[/i] Quin smiled and nodded before grabbing her bow, quiver and the rest of the arrows. As she walked away she looked up at the sky. "Thanks Dad. You always know what to say."
