OVERALL PERSONALITY
Jess walking down the street looks like just a fragile young girl. But, if you ever really knew her this assumption is wrong. She would knock your sorry but to the ground if you tried to attack her She always is a bit suspicious of new people to her life because she is just built that way. She though once she knows who you are will leave her guard but be a bit less suspicious. Only her close circle of friends get her loyalty, and she doesn't just let anyone be that close. More then that, she just seems to have this habit to try to relive pain from her close ones and others. She is a pretty good judge when others are in and and she hates to see it. She will end up being sarcastic when she is in bad situations is what she does to blow off fumes, or aggravate the other person. She also seems to find it appropriate to never give someone the satisfaction of seeing what they say hurt her, so she turns her expression blank and just might leave.
She finds joy in fighting, seeing how the patterns and the blades ring as they clash. She has been seen in the arena numerous times just to practice alone. She wants really to perfect herself to defend others, in addition to the fact she is a magnificent sight to see in a fight. But, she has seen both horror and beauty, death and life, both extremely vivid because she is a halfblood. She secretly hates being powerless, losing control of what she can do, and that is her fear also. This fear it's self is not vain, but rather that she does not want to be unable to help her friends, or others. Yet, so far, she has not told anyone about that, no one, she keeps it to herself for now.

HISTORY
Celia Knox was a young woman, adopted as a child in France, after growing up there she moved to America when she was 21 and became a rather successful small-time sailor on lake Erie in Ohio, along with maintaining a clothing store near her home. The actual town she lived in was called toledo, and she was at the docks when she met Poseidon. He was there just observing the lake, but somewhat disappointed in the pollution. Then he saw her, he thought she was beautiful, and she felt nearly the same way, being a sucker for a pretty face. When he came over to her she was very dismissive of him at first, trying to play hard-to-get, but then she fell under the persuasion of his charm sooner then she would have wished. She went on a few dates with him, they were together for a total of half a year, time in and time off of dating. Was it unusual for gods to stay this long with a mortal? Most likely, but Poseidon wanted to take it slow for once, but after a nearly a half-year of being together, he made his move, and soon Celia was pregnant.
When she gave birth to her child, she was both surprised and happy. But, Poseidon had to leave, he told her the truth just before. Gods were not allowed to stay with their mortal children long, it was law. She was greatly saddened to see her love go, but she had to take care of her child. With the truth on her mind she grew to be careful, there was no telling what monsters might come after her daughter, especially considering her father.
Jess showed early proficiency with sailing at a younger age, her mother showing her what to do and she picked it up, taking lessons from her mother. The water seemed to always be favorable while she was on board the ship. As she progress through school she joined a guitar club and got fairly good grades for a half-blood, straight B's were frequent, but it required great effort from her, especially in English class when the letters floated off the page. As for her friends, they were mostly people who along with her, but other then that she was an outsider. Then she met one kid, this kid was not ordinary, he was a satyr, but she had no idea at the time. Rob, found her quiet quickly then, she was to talented for mortal means, along with deslexia and ADHD, and with the strong scent she gave off, it was hard to believe she had not been killed yet, it was enough for him to talk to her and get to know her. It didn't take long for a monster attack after she realized what she really was. It was a hellhound, and quiet a big one. She escaped by chance. It was raining that day, and the water gave her the strength to move and escape.
When she returned and told her mother, she wasn't surprised, but afraid for her daughter. She saw that Rob's bottom half was unclothed and completely that of a goat, she had been told about satyrs, but this was her first experience with one. She knew that her daughter could no longer. She didn't know the exact location of camp, she just knew it existed, and that the satyr had to take her there there, it was both to save her and her mother. She didn't know if she could protect her should another monster come along. Then at that moment when they agreed on that, more monsters showed, there were three hell hounds, along with two snake like women, Jess was wild with fear.
They attacked, but the three could only fight with what they had, chairs, knifes, and other kitchen utensils. Jess was driven to do one thing, save her mother and Rob if she could. They knew they couldn't last longer then five minutes. In despiration, Jess drew from a source she didn't know she had. Her sink along with the floor that was under the feet of the monsters exploded in a torrent of water. She looked at the sink which had now been destroyed. Then Jess sawyed, she felt herself start to feel tired from the effort. She knew the monsters were gone, at least defeated for now. Then her vision faded to black.
that was seven years ago....
Now she has been at camp since she was nine, her necklace has seven camp beads on it. Her mother and Rob had both made it out of that day, her mother moved from the town, closer to Olympus in New York by moving to New York City. She and Rob drove her to long island, where Rob carried her inside, she was asleep for the whole 10 hour process, calling up water from all of the apartments in their building, at her age and practice nearly killed her. She was fed nectar and ambrosia to stabilize her during the journey. After that, she had been a year around camper since, making few journey's back to her new home in New York.
She had received a magical item, her sword, the sword it's self is simple in design, but it's different. Besides being made of celestial bronze and transforming into a silver bracelet on her wrist, it is a type of focus, it helps her think clearer then if she battled with another sword. As if it were made of water, it will empower her should her normal strength fail, but if she calls on it before then, the strength boost will be much less significant when she needs it. Currently, she is weary of the future, the mist fading...her own father wants to fix it and face the threat, but not all the gods agree..one can not help but wonder....what next?

Achilles roamed the Crete country side, he wore his armor out of habit, his shield on his back with his sword in it's scabbard attached to it. He rather liked that his sword's scabbard could be part of his shield to allow him greater movement. Crete's countryside had much foliage. He had been taking his steps slowly, taking in the scenery. He smirked as clouds moved slowly and covered part of the sun that Helios dragged across the sky each day. Achilles had no particular destination, but in his current state of movement, he was headed for the estate of an aristocrat. He noticed even though he was rather far away that there were many guards there. Great, stuck up Minos must be here, lovely, he thought even as his steps brought him closer because he had not much better to do.
He remembered a few facts he had learned of this aristocrat that lived here, one, he had many slaves under his control, many he heard he abused for his own pleasures, and others he used for his own work. He had also heard how rich he was, and the fact his manor had been given the most beautiful furnishings he could afford, and it might have helped that he was a friend of the king.
He saw slaves moving in and out of the aristocrat, he entered without being bothered, no one would stop him, even though he came in through a back door that was usually used by the gardners that he noticed. Achilles' steps made not much noise, but he heard noises near him. He walked down the hall way and he heard voices, he was rather intrigued to find out what they were talking about. He was in a back position, but he could hear them, they had a slave, a girl you, 13 he guessed from what he saw slightly. He knew that the part of him noble and just was going to end up freeing her, if not for her for the fact that he hated royalty.
They were close to entrance, he looked at all of the guards, there were 20, so simple, and plus he could kill the aristocrat, maybe even Minos, but that would cause to much political problems, even he knew that much. He rolled his eyes, he didn't have hi helmet with him, he left by his horse. He watched and payed more attention for one more minute before he saw a rather strong woman, he saw her muscular body type, the strength even though she was of her size which was close to his size, he could tell she was amazonian, he had been almost everywhere in Greece and most of the known world, he was pretty sure his guess was correct. But, she seemed slightly stronger then average, his guess was she was a godling, born of Hephaestus or Ares, maybe Zeus, one could never really be sure. But, he did think she was beautiful, one of the few that he considered to be that way, but he wasn't sure if she were broken, he hated if people were spineless, and he wasn't so easily seduced as other men were known to be.
Then he noticed twin swords in her hand, and an anger was in her eyes. As the girl was restrained by guards, he saw it before it happened, but the amazonian attacked. The man was dead before he hit the ground, he admired the skill of her attack, it was graceful in it's own way. Then the guards backed off in surprise, a smirk came to his face at this. Then he saw her twirl her swords and parried two swords of oncoming attacks. She kicked one guard in the stomach and stabbed the other in the leg, he could clearly see if she wanted too she could have killed him if she wanted to but she did so because of the need to keep moving. Yet, for all her skill the aristocrat still hit her right shoulder, and whole she was momentarily stunned the guards disarmed her and brought her down on the ground. She kicked and fought back but, the weight was too much for her. They pulled her hair and kicked at her abdomen, he gritted his teeth. He couldn't take this for much longer, it was spineless, ridicules, they would sell a child and then they attacked her defender.
“I always win… you should know better, you are nothing but a slave… Amazonian or not.” He watched from his secluded spot, the shadows still hid him from view as his anger grew. He watched the aristocrat smirk and then he heard, “Now, how exactly are you planning to get out of this situation, Child of Storms? Perhaps your Father is too busy with Aphrodite at the moment…”. He had decided, he would save the child of Ares, and would kill them in the process. He pulled off his shield, and took the sword out of it's scabbard, then he ran from his place on the side.
Once halfway to his first target he jumped, and once he got close he stabbed his sword down into the guards neck, he died in seconds has his sword sliced through flesh. The guards looked in surprise they all knew Achilles' face, as most people did because of his fighting skill, they attempted to attack him. The second guard he killed sliced at his chest, but Achilles blocked and redirected the sword, stabbing the guard next to him, then he drove his own sword into the solider. He had taken out three out of the nineteen guards that were left. He had sixteen left, all of whom were frightened of what they perceived as an unbeatable monster, it was going to be mere child's play.
The forth, fifth, and sixth guards work together in unison, trying to get him from all sides. But, he out maneuvered two of the swords and blocked the other one. He slashed in a wide arc, and cut the throats of all the men. They would die painfully in minutes, but he moved onto the next ones. The others that came after him left less weight on the girl, but he saw five men devoted to keeping her down while the others tried to stop him, they wouldn't be his nuisance for much longer, and if those five were smart, they would leave soon. But, the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh tried to surround him. He blocked slashes to his back with his shield while he deflected blows in front of him. He slashed the chest of the seventh and eighth soldiers. They both fell back, they gripped their chests, the cuts fairly deep, but they still died. He turned his attention to the last three that were standing near him, he stabbed through the one, right through the chest, and as he pulled his sword out he turned quickly, in a clockwise direction, he dilievered a cut to his legs, and then stabbed him. That left one, as the man took a slash at him Achilles slapped his sword out of his hand with his shield, then delivered a crushing skull blow to his head using his shield.
He didn't stop his momentum, and quickly killed two of the five that still held the girl down, the other three looked at him in horror, pure fear shown in their eyes. He made a quick motion with his head, pointing toward where the door was, they all quickly moved as fast as their legs could carry them. Then by putting his shield on his back he freed a hand and helped the amazonian up, but he left his sword in one hand. Then he turned to the aristocrat. "I guess you don't always win then", his voice was full of mocking and daring the aristocrat to try something. He watched the aristocrat's nostrils flare as he saw visible signs of the aristocrat's anger growing.
He pointed a finger at him, "You have no right here Achilles, these are MY SLAVES! I will do with them what I WISH!", he accented those words at the end of each sentence to deliver a point. Achilles then took his arm and twisted it, three loud snaps were heard as the aristocrat's arm broke from his pressure. Achilles kicked him down to the ground as he screamed in pain. He mouth was a flat line, emotionless and seemingly cruel. He turned to the king, "Your company as far as friends go seems to be unchanged." . The king had also seemingly grown angry. "This is not a forgivable wrong Achilles! You have dishonored me and the owner of this manor, even if you take the girl, my wrath will follow you, assassins could be sent after you, and eventually both of you....will die", anger was clearly able to be heard in this voice. Achilles own voice changed to normal, flat, as he replied, "It's nothing new to me, many have tried to kill me, yet hear I am. You may try king, but you won't win this. You sell a child and punish her defender, and for that I will protect her, if not just to save her from an unjust ruler, but for that girl that deserves to be raised by a mother and father that she protected. Now I think I will take my leave. Goodbye King Minos." He knew that he could not pursue him forever, it would be unwise on his part, and eventually he would give up as others had who tried to kill him.
He then returned to where the girl was standing, he said to her, "If you wish you may come with me. But, that is your choice, if I am not with you I can't help you should any of your former master's minions come after you.", he purposely added former to his comment, he wanted to let her know that she was now free, and her choices were her own.
